Reasonable reserves should lead to some good sales in HA.com’s first domain name auction.
The Heritage Auctions domain name auction, the first domain name auction to be undertaken by a major auction house, ends one week from today. The actual auction will take place on November 21.
Reserves will be posted on HA.com tonight, but after taking an advance look, it seems like there are some great domains with very reasonable reserves.
I’m not sure if these will sell, as the right buyer will have to show up, but I believe all of these domains are priced appropriately.
QR.com $200,000 – given the importance of QR codes worldwide, this is a great domain.
Animation.com $95,000 – I know this domain has been posted in other auctions, but I believe this is a fair price for an industry term.
DVDs.com $50,000 – despite a move to Blu-Ray, people still refer to them as DVDs. Sales are slowing thanks to digital, tool. But Netflix bought DVD.com last year.
BasketballMemorabilia.com – NR – Great domain, especially for some of Heritage Auctions’ existing customers.
GradedCards.com $1,500 – another great domain for Heritage Auctions’ customer base.
CoinCompany.com NR – ditto.
ItalianSuits.com $10,000 – a big ticket product and a low priced domain.
I also like many of the three letter domains under $10,000.
